● Private beta — no watermark, ever

Edit your reels without uploading a thing.

A real video editor that runs entirely in your browser. Trim, cut to the beat, add captions and music, export in seconds. Your footage never touches a server — because there isn't one.

No account needed · Nothing to install · Works in Chrome, Edge, Safari & Firefox

What it does

Everything you need for a 30-second reel.

Built for vertical video. Import, arrange, cut, export — without the bloat of a desktop NLE or the account wall of a mobile app.

Export in seconds

Hardware-accelerated encoding through WebCodecs — dramatically faster than screen-recording your own timeline.

✂️

Trim & reorder

Drag the handles on any clip to set in and out points. Shuffle the order until the story lands.

🎵

Cut to the beat

Detects the tempo of your music on-device, then snaps every cut to a real detected beat — not a guessed grid.

Auto-transitions

Reads motion, brightness and colour either side of every cut, then picks a matching transition — whip pan, zoom punch, glitch, film burn. One click, no upload.

🖼️

Photos + video

Mix stills into the timeline. Every photo gets an automatic Ken Burns push so nothing sits flat.

📐

Every aspect ratio

9:16 for Reels and TikTok, 1:1 for feed, 16:9 for YouTube. Switch with one click, re-export instantly.

🚫

No watermark

Your export is your export. No logo burned into the corner, no upsell to remove it.

Why it's different

Your footage never leaves your computer.

Most web editors upload every clip to their servers before you can make a single cut. Videotory does all decoding, compositing, and encoding locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted, nothing is stored, nothing is scanned.

That means no upload wait before you start editing, no storage limits on your source files, and no question about who else can see your unreleased work. It also means we couldn't hand your footage to anyone if we wanted to — we never have it.

One exception, stated plainly. There is an optional cloud AI morph transition that is switched off and has no default server. If you choose to turn it on and supply your own endpoint, that one feature sends two still frames per cut to whichever service you point it at. Nothing else in the editor transmits anything, and this stays off unless you deliberately enable it.
